Re: Items in the Economy
What about a combination of things to control inventory? Probably a lot of development, but maybe implemented over time? Rust monsters oxidizing gear, pick pocketing NPCs, and item wear and tear that can be repaired for a price scaling appropriately for the quality - perhaps even saving throws the i...

Re: NS5 Resting Restrictions
A chance for wandering monsters would be fun, but make it a low chance so it isn't abused for easy xp.

Re: Mummy Dust 21 Cleric/19 Wizard
My first character on the server was a cleric/sorc. It was fun at first with the spell selection, but she soon became a mule as her spell casting just wasn't effective enough. I got good at running for my life though... :) I later redid the character as a pure cleric with a high wisdom. It was a hug...

Re: Crafting elemental properties into armor and weapons
The trap components are just an example I threw out there since they cover about all the elemental properties found on items already in the realm. I was also trying to offer a way to add a certain level of control since the MA would have to scrounge up enough of the right component before they could...

Re: Crafting elemental properties into armor and weapons
Sorry for the double post, but I had to get back to work before I could finish last time... :) For those who skim read this - yes, I think most crafted gear rocks. The idea I had was to make the armor and weapon crafting specialties more attractive. Right now they just produce lighter weight generic...

Re: Crafting elemental properties into armor and weapons
MLoki and Rufio are right... My post wasn't about crafted items in general, just weapons and armor (though elemental protection in a nice tailored shirt would be super). I agree other crafters DO make some of the best gear. This is what prompted my question about weapons and armor. The leather goods...

Crafting elemental properties into armor and weapons
This may have been covered in the past so I apologize if I'm repeating an earlier thread... I was wondering if elemental properties have ever been considered as an option for crafted items. Crafted weapons and armor, while nice, are not nearly as useful as the amulets, boots, belts, cloaks and glove...

Re: Dragon Knight changes
I agree... there should not be a heirarchy amongst the DK summons, but different powers/abilities. I also agree they were underpowered before the changes. Especially considering to max one out you are looking at a total of 4 feats along with racial and domain (for cleric) choices for your character ...

Re: Dragon Knight changes
Ha, Ha, Ha Well stated MadUkranian.........although, I do have ask. Is belly-bucking an actual feat that I can choose? Because if it is, I am going to choose it as soon as possible! I am going to have the first epic belly-bucker on the server. alasteir Hey, nobody said a KD had to be pretty! I good...

Re: Dragon Knight changes
I don't think the KD immunity is cheese. If anything, an EPIC summons should have those strengths. Sure it can suck when your toon bumps into a hostile DK, but giving the epic summons some real teeth is what gives this server its flavor. Cheese would be my dwarf fighter belly-bucking a DK into a pro...
