Thanks for the reply. I had read over that description of Haste multiple times and thought it didn't override automatic quicken spell, but past threads on this forum basically stated that Automatic quicken spell was pointless due to haste.

I'm attempting to plan out my sorcerer and I seemed to find conflicting info whether or not Automatic Quicken spell added much additional benefit over Haste. Any opinions on whether or not Automatic Quicken spell feats have much value?

Not important at all. There are some quarterstaves that give bonus sorcerer spell slots, but there are are plenty of magic staves that small races can use which are just as good or better than the quarterstaves available for the purpose of granting extra spell slots.
