I just mastered this job also and do not see the +2AC boost either. I stripped out all my armor and items just to be sure, and naked AC still doesn't have the +2.

Don't forget to use Divine Might/Divine Shield all the time. I haven't seen any creature yet that can resist divine damage and the extra ac really helps when monsters start taunting you. Lokey: It would be really great if Holy Avenger is improved. I was so sad when I finally got the spell at level 1...

How about binding on ally's rift shards? That would increase the bindable points quite significantly and make traveleing much easier.
