Re: NS5 Resting Restrictions
Three words: Leomund's Tiny Hut! Oooooooo! I can't stop at three words. If there is a chance of wandering monsters, what happens if there is one person resting while the rest of the party stands on guard? Could one high-level person in a party frequently resting cause some sort of mob spawning explo...

Re: Items in the Economy
A perma chest would run about 50 million gold(with 1 page of inventory, extra pages could be purchased at 25 million a page). I have seen players on other servers willing to pay vast sums for permanent storage, but that was when they were only allowed a small set number of characters, so there were...

Re: Items in the Economy
a banking system so you can "mule"/"stash" all your items in so you don't have to keep them in your inventory. then add in if you die...your body leaves remains and anything not equipped to your person ie. your inventory, is left in the remains to be stolen ;) That's not too bad. You have an option...

Re: Items in the Economy
My reference to cursing Daeron with darkness and driders is not necessarily intended to be useful in a raid. They could appear in some part of Daeron that would not be strategically important and could be hostile to everyone. They could hinder a raider as much as a defender. This is not intended to ...

Re: Items in the Economy
In approximately two years of playing on the server, I have never had a level 40 character, never accumulated vast sums of gold, and never accumulated a hoard of 30th level items. I tend to have multiple crafter builds going at the same time, finally joined a guild a few months ago, and have only on...

Here is a link to the other topic I think Korr is referring to: Healing in PvP
Since it is in the section regarding player polls, it may not be the most intuitively obvious location to find it.
If there is some other topic more relevant, please make a link to it.

Re: Tailor Monks
My toon Lotus Path (TSS) is a level 32 human monk from Melencia who tailors. I never had any difficulties in attaining Master Artisan status, and I have no problems crafting gear and upgrading it to 30th level. Smashbunny, does your character have levels in some other class in addition to your monk ...

Re: BG Spell & Summon
I have also successfully used healing kits on summoned undead. Healing kits, negative energy rays/bursts, inflict wounds spells, harm, and regenerative spells all increase hit points for summoned undead. Cure wounds spells and heal spells do damage to undead. The BG inflict ability must not be tweak...

Re: Summons.. really?
Keep in mind that there are other summons you have access to with wizard spells, instead of just using the Summon Creature spells. At 4th level, instead of the Bison, you could try Shadow Conjuration. At 5th level you could try Greater Shadow Conjuration or Lesser Planar Binding. At 6th level, you c...

Re: Earth genasi tokens and epic dmg reduction
The character is a 17th level Earth Genasi pure fighter. When I have the choice of a general feat, (not a fighter bonus feat), I see Resist Disease and Resist Poison in the list, but not Resist Energy. Does their racial feature of 50% acid damage reduction preclude them from taking additional energy...

Re: Earth genasi tokens and epic dmg reduction
I recently started an Earth Genasi fighter, and the (non-epic) resist energy feats never appear in the list when I level up. The only prerequisite is a base fort save of +8 and my fighter's unbuffed and unequipped fort save is currently +17, but I never get the option of selecting that feat. I see R...

Re: "DM on?"
I was just asking, mainly because of the color of the forum name not being blue. I think a user's group membership on the boards determines the name color. Members of the NS3 DMs group, NS4 DMs group, NS4 Devs group, and NS5 Devs group all get nifty colors for their names. Members of the Moderators...
