Cleric spells that I don't understand
If the short answer is that they have been modded for the module, thats fine, I just want to make sure I understand things as I am new to being a cleric.
I have a 39th level cleric. Like all high level clerics, I like buffs.
But I see such strange inconsistencies in duration. The most annoying one is Aura versus alignment. Its stated duration is 1 round/level. I take the EXTENDED version of it at 9th level, meaning, in theory, I have 78 rounds of improved AC. In theory, it should last as long as my extended Divine Power and extended prayer. Pfft... Its gone in less than 1 minute. And the extended version doesn't seem to last any longer than the regular.
Same with divine favor. It has a duration of 1 turn. So, extended should be 2. I cast it when I need a little extra push to get some melee harm touches off. That thing is practically gone before I let the mouse click up from having cast it.
Have spells like Aura versus alignment been nerfed?
There are more things I wonder about, but thats the biggest that comes to mind at the moment. If it has been nerfed, is there somewhere that someone has compiled a list of such modifications?

Aura spells seem to be buggy. You cast them, run around a little, and they dissappear. I don't think it's a nerf so much as a bug with the spell. Doesn't aura vs. alignment give deflection AC anyway? Meaning it wont stack and is therefore pretty much useless?
I haven't noticed an issue with divine favour. Not that I've timed it or anything, but it certainly lasts long enough to justify casting it, and doesn't dissappear as quick as you mention.

there are many bugs like that if you really pay attention to them. alot of times we just get used to the fact that things are they way they are and we dont look into them or we just dont care.... this is a good post and point well taken. I would suggest starting a Topic specifically for these things and see what we get. Who knows, maybe we can even get them fixed.

yeah battletide has the same problems. it spams on and off, sometimes having a party member nearby will trigger it, other times an enemy corpse, and after a while it just seems to get tired and goes away of it's own volition. I'm pretty sure it wont cross zone boundaries with you, though i could be mistaken.
it annoyed me so much that I simply removed it from my buff hotbar, +AB be damned.

I agree... I have gotten accustomed to staring at char sheet while fighting to know when buffs are fading, and AB usually stays up for a while. But in doing so, thats when I noticed jsut how quickly the AC drops...
I am interested in the wording of the "fixed" bug. It refers to extended aura. I will test tonight with regular version. Now that my caster level is 39, it should be notceable as to whether this is an "extended" issue or whether the spell itself is busted with normal casting. Its a shame either way as its a great spell...

I have noticed that Un/Holy Aura lasts longer when not trying to zone and when not in combat.
I've actually timed it. It'll last 5 minutes longer if you just stand there and do nothing but send tells and blab in party chat.

heh... very useful.
2 Things I noted last night. NON-extended version seems to last longer, implying that the 1.65 "fix" didn't work, or that somehow NS missed updating that particular file.
I also discovered that moving seemed to have little impact on duration within a map. (Didn't test accross zones)
