Spell slots empty upon login (redux)

Post by Charon_ns3 »

Well, whoever fixed this, hats off!

Not sure why the original thread got locked, but I'm glad someone looked into it.

To recap for those that are still confused, I am not referring to the fact you have no spells upon login. Before the fix, on my cleric, spells (most likely bonus spells from gear stat modifiers) that I wanted to memorize would disappear from my spellbook. I.e., before I logged off, I had, say 8 Empowered Blades memorized...upon login, there would only be 7 there and an empty spell slot.

Anyway, it appears it's all water under the bridge now...just wanted to say thanks. :)

Now if the devs can fix this same problem on my Druid Dragon, I'll be really impressed...;)

This change was made because people were taking advantage of an exploit where people would log off, then log on, and like magic their spells were back without resting.

So, the fact that you have no spells on logon is 100% intentional.

What Charon was refffering to was not the empty quick slot but slots in the spell book itsself that would go empty on a Cleric.

Locked since its a completely dead horse now.
