Problems finding servers...

Ok i'm at my wits end... i posted on the official NWN forums and got no help so i thought i'd try here...

On clicking the multiplay box in NWN it says it could not connect to the master server... fine i thought as i'd had this before... when i get to the next part and want to see the servers it says it cant connect to gamespy...

This leaves me with a problem as i cannot find the servers to join them . This only started happening after the last patch...

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as i'm nearing the 3 month toon deadline too and i really dont wanna lose all my charachters .

the last patch caused problems for me too.. i can't see the server list either, though i don't have the same problem as you do.. after i click on "join internet game", the game loads for about 2 minutes, then says something about my nick is bad..

few things to try

1) set up a direct connection from your desktop. no, i have no idea how that works because i'm a mac user, but there's instructions posted as a sticky somewhere.....on one of the server boards i think

2) find out the IP for the server you want and direct connect through gamespy

3) add logins of people you know play, and follow them onto the server through your buddylist
