Would it be possible to make lockers that we could put some items in, lock them with say, a combination-like lock, then come back with our other toon and retrieve the transfer items? Then once the locker was empty, it would forget the locker code so the next person who wanted to use it could. And of course it would empty on reset.

Um, no.

Seems rather excessive, it's not like it's hard to transfer stuff as it is.

i can almost guarantee that this won't happen. if for no other reason than the endless exploits that would come with it.
