Melee Red Dragon Disciple Builds

Why are you using starting stats of 18 str and 12 int and then raising int at level 16? You could start with 17 str and 13 int and raise str at level 16 and also have 2 points spare.

With Barbarian I think a better melee solo build is
11 Barbarian (levels 1-11)
3 Bard (levels 12, 27, 40)
26 Red Dragon Disciple

Taking the extra RDD levels gives you an extra 3AC and they are at 12 hit die too which is always nice... I think I ended up 58AB, 83AC, 1,000HP, and DR10/- and didn't have a problem fighting through the mod from scratch (was my first build on MW after it got hacked and wiped).

why take sorc instead of bard? could take bard at lvl 40 use tumble and get a higher AC with the Pally/Brd/RDD

Here is a similar build to the Pally one mentioned (from memory, so some bits might have been different). No alignment change required and some sneak damage added in to the mix... there might be a few mistakes and maybe some skill points left over.

Just wondering, why take points in lore? 1000gp isn't that much to pay to get stuff id'd

not at first, no but think if you get 100 things id'd... it adds up fast especially if you use arrows

Why spend 1000 gp to ID stuff? There are merchants all over that will ID for 100gp. One of them is in the NS arena.

I would say the best build is

29cleric /1bard /10rdd

rdd gives you charisma
and u can boost ab/ac with cleric spells

I don't like rdd cause it gives str and I prefer dex based chars, but if you want to use a str weapon rdd is the best choice
