Shifter script from 3.5
Shifter script from 3.5
Hi all,
Just wondering if the 3.5 shifter script (Or even a toned down version) is in effect in v4.
Would love to create my Druid/Shifter/Monk build.

Out of curiosity, what is stopping it? Sure they would have to take Druid first, but they could make a LN Druid and take Monk later.TheKala wrote:Druid/Shifter/Monks are impossible to make in NS4.
Of course IMO if they are going to play a LN character just to get the classes they had better RP thta allignment. But then, I hate it when people pick alignments JUST for their class choice. (I never play a Pally, I can't do LG, I'm always CN or CG but then, IRL I'm kinda Chaotic myself

Shifter is only allowed in the Circle faction. Monks are not allowed in the Circle faction. Mutually exclusive. :)

Dont even get me started on the shifter thing again...shifters on NS4 are so screwed its just sad...not one single multiclass option worth taking for them...cant choose pretty much any 3rd class that would be beneficial to a shifter...not to mention the way the nwn engine handles items when no custom scripts are implemented...

Don't forget that shifters are inherently less effective than druids, being as they have less and less-effective druid buffs. Because of this, I am confused as to why people would appear so sad at not having the druid/monk/shifter combo, short of losing the novelty of many (less effective) shapes.Arashi wrote:Dont even get me started on the shifter thing again...shifters on NS4 are so screwed its just sad...not one single multiclass option worth taking for them...cant choose pretty much any 3rd class that would be beneficial to a shifter...not to mention the way the nwn engine handles items when no custom scripts are implemented...

So yes Arashi...get started.
because, you know, it's really hard to be able to see the snergy of the monks wis bonus added to ac and a druid/shifter having high wisdom...TheBestDeception wrote:Because of this, I am confused as to why people would appear so sad at not having the druid/monk/shifter combo, short of losing the novelty of many (less effective) shapes.
Oh and maybe the fact monks have evasion and druids generally low reflex...
