RP dictonairy

Post by KST_HAVOK »

These are a few terms i have heard and used when RPing to ask certian questions without having to go out of character. Feel free to add more if you have some

Season = Level

Exapmle : What level r you = What season r you

Class = Area of Expertise

Example : What class r you = What is your area of expertrise

there are others that i have also head people using that dont have to be switched but they can be switched just for RP sakes if you like.

Buffs = Magical Enhancments

Ding = *this is the most creative one i have heard courtsy of Go-off Black mane* I have gained enough knowledge to advance in my studies.

Leveling = I need a moment to reflect on what i have learned

These arent set in stone these are just some suggestions for some people who like to or want to start RPing but dont know where to start or how to talk

Feel Free to Add on :lol:

I don't think season makes sense when using it as referring to your level. I think more appropriate would be your experience you have gained in your years of adventuring, something around that.

I prefer ranks to seasons, seasons implies time not experience, back in 1st edition you got a new title everytime you leveled up, "Lord" was L10 fighter cant remember the rest though...

Perhaps a simplified non-class specific term for each level break could be used, but it would be very complex and need a Lexicon entry into the quest log to have any success

Now thats an idea i like add a lexicon for the world in the quests menu...
could be to part, OOC jargon and In charactor terms
