Losing items when pkd

is this sposed to happen? I lost all my inv xept for the items I had equipped

It's a bug. I was killed in Melencia yesterday by some high level druid bully and when I respawned back to LA I had no inventory. I lost my journal and Drow special Item, both of which can't be replaced.

I know a few other folks who also lost gear yesterday.

And yes, I reported it to a DM.

There's a bug posted on this on the bug reporting board. Please make sure that you report it there with as many details about what happened as possible. The more information (for example, did the Druid do it, or did his Animal companion or summons) about the exact details that you post, the easier it will be for the scripters to fix this problem.

i was killed by a summon and when i respawned i had nothing except the stuff i had equiped

aye, it's when you die from a summon i think, happened to me also...
tho i never lost items when a regular player PK'd me on a different server, and yes, it seems this only happens when you are on a server other than where you bind point it located.

i dies on the same server as my bind point so thats prolly ruled out, also you lose your journal when it happens
is there a way to get anouther put on your chr (question to a dm or whoever)

I was PK'ed by an animal companion in Melencia (darn droods) and lost all my gear.. but that was awhile ago, and since have not travelled there for fear of the same. I also paid respawn penalties.
