Biowares own builds
Are any of Biowares own builds any good??
To me it looks like the Undead Lord and the Divine Warrior are fantastic builds.
But do they work as good as Bioware make them sound?
The builds are:
Wrathful Berserker
Undead Lord
Bewildering Archer
Exalted Sorceress
Divine Warrior
Devastating Rogue
And you can find them on (scroll down):

Some of the bioware builds use combinations not possible on NS (more than one PRC, faction restrictions).
However, there is a PvP site / guild "Bastions of War". On their website http://www.bastionsofwar.com there is section for "build contests". They've had about 10 or so of them. There are TONS of epic build progressions there.
On another note, how about we start a NS build forum or thread?

That would logically be in character customization.

Here. You'll need to join the Bastions of War guild to view the forums (it's on the bioware server).

hey...
I went on the NWN wiki and read the Weapon Master Class...
on the bottom it says
"Although the ultimate specialist in a single weapon, Weapon Masters cannot take Weapon Specialization and Epic Weapon Specialization without taking at least 4 Fighter levels. One Fighter or Champion of Torm epic level must be taken for Epic Weapon Specialization, leaving room for 29 Weapon Master levels. The last weapon master bonus feat and AB increase is at level 28, so not much is lost by going that route."
Why is there only 29 WM lvls left?? if 4 fighter and 1 Fighter or COT is required.. isnt there 35 lvls left??
thanks

The most useful combination of Fig/WM levels is 12 / 28. This leaves you with 18 post-epic WM levels with (18 / 3) = 6 epic superior weapon focus bonuses + 1 for pre epic = +7 AB from WM weapon focus.
The 2 Fighter levels post epic are to use the fighter bonus feat at 12 to take epic weapon specialization. Take 3 WM levels from 21-23 and select epic weapon focus first. Then take 2 fighter levels for the epic weapon specialization. Then go all out with the WM levels til 40.
You end up with 1 or 2 more AB then a maxed RDD build this way.

so you lvl
1-10 fighter
11-23 WM
24-25 Fi
26-40 WM?
Actually... you'd probably want to start taking WM levels as soon as possible, and if you're taking fighter, it's easy to start WM at 7th.. ie:
01: Fighter(1): Toughness, Dodge, Weapon Proficiency Exotic
02: Fighter(2): Weapon Focus: Any
03: Fighter(3): Expertise
04: Fighter(4): STR+1, Mobility, (STR=17)
05: Fighter(5)
06: Fighter(6): Spring Attack, Whirlwind Attack
07: Weapon Master(1): Weapon of Choice: ANY
08: Weapon Master(2): STR+1, (STR=18)
09: Weapon Master(3): Improved Critical: ANY
10: Weapon Master(4)
11: Weapon Master(5)
12: Weapon Master(6): DEX+1, ambidexterity, (DEX=15)
13: Weapon Master(7)
14: Weapon Master(8)
15: Weapon Master(9): two-weapon fighting
16: Weapon Master(10): STR+1, (STR=19)
17: Fighter(7)
18: Fighter(8): improved two-weapon fighting, Weapon Focus: another weapon
19: Fighter(9)
20: Fighter(10): STR+1, knockdown, (STR=20)
You also may want to mix your Ftr/WM up with rogue, monk or bard so that you can get your AC up a bit, especially if you're losing AC with no shield using 2 handed or double weapons, as long as you can squeeze in 25 wm levels, you're only losing a single AB from the 28th WM level boost. There is no real benefit taking a total of; 26, 27, 29 or 30 levels of WM, you could benefit more from another class. (oops edited)
Note that weaponmasters can take a 2nd focused weapon at 13 levels of WM, which is good because you can mix up your damage output and still maintain oodles of crits.
If you're gonna be a 1-weapon wonder, AND mixing in a class that can boost your AB in other ways (ie: Cleric, Bard, Paladin, etc...) then you may be better off only taking 7 WM levels and put the rest into your casting class or whatever.

If you have at least 13 levels in Weapon Master, and you have Weapon Focus in a secondary weapon, you can use one of your Epic Weapon Master Bonus feats to make your secondary weapon a Weapon of Choice, it will receive all the Weapon Master bonuses the first weapon does. Any weapon you have focus in qualifies for a Weapon of Choice as you become an even more epic Weapon Master.
Serving NS4 proper as Lathander and Sleeth as Bahamut.
Yes, I'm a DM, but your build still sucks.
