i know a few were mentioned, but how many lvls are there? If you have levels in Assassin, Blackguard, Cleric, Divine Champion, Dwarven Defender, Dragon Disciple, Paladin, Palemaster, or Shadowdancer, the maximum craft level you can attain is Craftsman (Level 3) in any Tradeskill (these classes have significant other duties to perform or skills to practice).
ok, so say i manage to sneak all teh way from the citcle to the halls of ragnar's kin, and the crafting place is empty. can i use thiers? and if so, will it be "cheaper" for me?armor in the mines of Ragnar's Kin will be slightly cheaper compared to Melencia Forest (the Circle)

Throst, yes it would be cheaper for you. If you survive the trip, of course ;)
There is no gathering/mining/smelting/pounding to craft things, we felt that in an online setting that is more of a time-waster than anything. Instead, you pay GP/XP as a representation of this work, and it is assumed to have been done "behind the scenes".

rings
Decided to tag this post onto this crafting post, to keep from adding extra topics. I didnt notice any crafting profession that allowed for the creation of rings, was that just left off on one of the profession tables or was this intended?

We're using rings for mostly skill boosts--and that's a lot of templates to make (or item property scripting to do). I've been looking at tradeskills as they are now a decent start; we have more things planned for them.

another crafting question. hypothetically, if i achieve a level of skill above craftsmen, and then go on to take on of the classes or prestige classes that doesn't allow me to progress beyond craftsman, what happens to my crafting skills?
