Its at the point i hardly loot anything. Whats the point I have bought everything possible and I have 2 millon gold on me and I don't even try to collect gold. If you enter a zone after other have cleared it you see lots of remains full of loot.
Hardly any players selling items or crafting items.
I think vendors should buy loot at 1/10 or 1/20 the price they are buying now.
Too much gold in the game.
Agreed, I feel the monsters are dropping too much cash as well... even lowly rats give me an average of 20-30 gp, sometimes giving up to 80 or 90.
If money is too easy to come by then nothing will have any real value in the game... Kinda like draco blades, draco mortis skulls, accountants tunics, etc etc from NS3 where every n00b and his grandmother could get his hands on that stuff within 3 days of arriving on the realm for the first time (i know i did, and those were my first 3 days of playing NWN ever).

all of this goes into testing. we are tryign to get a feel for how much players can aquire and we will adjust prices accordingly.
Also remember that only the basic items are in thie shops. There will be faction specific gear soon, similiar to what the npcs and guards wear and other things. Also dyes and craftings and maybe other fees down the road to take your money:)
