you guys should re-read the the title of this...... it is targeted to one DM...... and one DM only. and calling somebody stalin and hitler makes perfect sense......it is their way or they shoot you. they don't listen. they don't think. and it is just a game.....which is why banning me was so damn stupid. guess some people need to feel important. oh....that DM also deleted some of my posts. can't have somebody speaking the truth about em.

Common Sense post
If anyone plays PnP D&D anymore, you know the DM is the final law, so to speak. I've argued with DMs before, and made my point or had it confirmed, but the final word is theirs. It is understood when (and if) you want to play in their game, that they are "in charge" so to speak.
I guess NWN is somewhat different, in that the whole of the fantasy world is not being filtered through the DMs. In this case, like it or not, you are still placing yourself under thier judgement just by playing in the group (module in this case). As in PnP, be respectful, and it will most likely be returned.
In cases of a disagreement with a NS DM, it's easier to avoid attracting thier attention than in PnP. But, it can be done. Don't break the rules, don't invoke the gods, be respectful when you encounter them, don't swear or insult them, and chances are they will leave you alone to play.
If you feel that you would make a better DM, I'm sure NS4 has some method by which you can apply and prove it.

P.S. If you've never played pen and paper D&D or any other role-playing game, then maybe someone else can help explain it better.
