Or just make it do 10000 magic damage if they don't save. If they save then no damage. I have seen it work on other server and it works good. Pretty much same effect since when you are turned to stone you are pretty much dead.
*edit* hold person with bypass imunities sounds better then what i suggested
Flesh to Stone
how bout we just make it so if you are killed you lose xp no matter if you are killed in pvp or not even if you are raised you still lose xp shouldnt matter how you are killed your still dead. that would fix all the issues with killing some one and making them lose xp makes it a little more realistic not like xp is hard to get.
Actually that would make this a completely different game. No thanks.Yaway wrote:how bout we just make it so if you are killed you lose xp no matter if you are killed in pvp or not even if you are raised you still lose xp shouldnt matter how you are killed your still dead. that would fix all the issues with killing some one and making them lose xp makes it a little more realistic not like xp is hard to get.

my guess is you don't have a level 30 character yet...Yaway wrote:not like xp is hard to get.
Give me some credit please. I said in the very first entry exactly why this doesn't clearly define whether or not it's permitted.TGPO wrote:Guess what, its in the Commandments. Funny how a little reading now and then helps, then again I can understand for some of our more colorfull personalities we have had visit us over the years reading may not be a strong point. But c'mon, even TerminalInsanity knew that one.
anyway, it's all cleared up now. Amoenotep's announcement leaves no room for doubt.
Binkyuk is right once you get into your 30's XP while decent becomes harder to accumulate due to the increased C.R. of the monsters. I have a 31 RDD that has been languishing since just after the wipe, it takes forever for him to kill a fire guardian and he is immune to fire. You would think that would be the ideal place to level, but it is very slow.Yaway wrote:how bout we just make it so if you are killed you lose xp no matter if you are killed in pvp or not even if you are raised you still lose xp shouldnt matter how you are killed your still dead. that would fix all the issues with killing some one and making them lose xp makes it a little more realistic not like xp is hard to get.
The reason its a bad idea is for the simple fact that the counter exists in game and that being stone to flesh.Daltian wrote:Or just make it do 10000 magic damage if they don't save. And as far as a hold spell bypassing immunities, how would that be solved in a party situation. At least with flesh to stone you have a spell to reverse it. What spell would you use to reverse it? Restoration? Dispel magic? And if no one is there to reverse it how would it trigger the respawn?
As I said, hold person that bypases imunity is better idea.Lorkar1 wrote:The reason its a bad idea is for the simple fact that the counter exists in game and that being stone to flesh.Daltian wrote:Or just make it do 10000 magic damage if they don't save. we're getting a bit off topic, and the Big Question has been answered.
reworking the spell has been taken up in http://www.nsrealm.com/public/ns4/viewt ... 5&start=30
Might want to move the Answer a bit closer to the front so subsequent readers don't have to read to page 2 to find it out...
