Its not like overall damage output changes.Eldaquen wrote:Please do not stack the damage. The Forest eye is not supposed to be used in that manner. We are on our honor not to stack. Please only activate it once and not again until 1st activation expires.

Re: "Pure" bardsong
Well the problem is that 30% of TC builds are shifters, who can't use the forest eye token while shifted. Deshifting in combat is dangerous, if not impossible (once you run out of re-shifts), so for these characters it's impractical to re-apply token damage after the first one wears off. I suppose we can just use the token once, but then it would seem that we're only getting half of the job's benefits. It's doable, but annoying.
Edit: this is also hilariously off-topic.

Another 5% of TC builds are WMs, who benefit a lot from pure bardsong.
Which is currently fine. Bards still dies.

Re: "Pure" bardsong
lol. ao bonus is easily twice as good as this - uh. except we don't have any. but at least the elemental damage from our clerics is nice... oh except its fire damage which almost every weapon already has. Well there's always Holy Sword from our paladins...mining wrote:At the absolute maximum, it gives 2d8 for 8 minutes. Oh, and it picks the same element half the time, so 1d8 for 8. Joy.
Ever had a ranger buffing the party's weapons cause he's the only one with something valuable? I'd say 90% of the time AO players are running around with no extra damage at all - not even for 8 minutes.

Just adding another bardsong sonic testament... wearing Lumi plate (25% + 5% sonic immune) vs pure bard and it resisted no sonic damage from bard. 40 sonic straight through the armor.
