Does anyone know where this drops??

Been asking around for a month or so.. haven't found anyone that knows where Armor of Darkness drops. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I've confirmed that it does indeed exist, and here's a copy/paste of the wiki description/stats:

Description: This armor was forges somewhere in the abyss by a demon, for his worshippers to use in the fight against good.

Well, you're not going to find where stuff drops on the wiki, the devs made it clear they don't want spoilers about it. BTW, I haven't seen that piece of gear before so I don't know where it's from offhand.

The description may be a clue as to where to look for it.

Random treasure item I think. They're about the only items with descriptions.

Some of the stuff on the wiki are artifact drops that are just dropped randomly by anything over a certain CR. Some of them are very rare. I don't think there are any artifact drops past level 20 gear though.

I don't know if that is one, but it probably is.

It could possibly be an artifact as well, the stats look a bit unusual, and artifacts sometimes do that. It's not categorized as such, though there's a lot of incomplete information on the wiki.

Random artifact. Probably drops on 25-30+ bosses/chests or anything really. One of those ideas I had during the beginning to put some rare stuff that couldnt be farmed. We should have more:)

So has anyone actually ever seen this drop? I've asked around quite a bit ingame and I've yet to find anyone thats ever seen it.

Most people don't put much effort into collecting drops below level 30 after completing their first character or two since you can recycle old gear as your characters grow out of them. It is pretty common to not pick up fullplates while leveling just because they are so big and heavy. I'd guess that this artifact may be especially rare (some seem to be more common than others) and people don't bother to id it thinking it is just a generic drop.

that rufio and most pvp builds dont include any lore skill, so untill level 16, you cant id anything without taking it back to a store. And once 16 you have to use the legend lore helm for basic id, but even then, its a helm sawping and activation delay. If running solo no worries, but if in a party, ya tend to try to stick with the group.

Also builds that are likely strong enough to lug around a few full plates like fighters or barbarians aren't likely to spend their few skill points on Lore.

Yea I play now. AO/RK right now, but i may try an nc char. Just relearning the mechanics.
