I have tried to log on to NS4 with a new char (as i haven't played for a while and i belive there was a reset of some sorts) . When i go to enter the screen comes up black and tells me to either try again or that i have tried to log on to any area that is no longer there. What should i do to get in to NS?

Are you trying to get in through a direct connection? .. If so the IP might have changed since the last time you played . Try finding NS4 in the gamespy list.

this was not the problem as i made it to the do you wish to enter never summer screen but thanks for the input

What was your char name? if it is more then 32 characters your char will be rejected.

Try and log on to irc and get a hold of a DM next time you log on, we usually get a messege when someone is rejected in the dm channel, that might help clear things up.

You might also make sure you don't have any hakpaks for other mods installed. Lately we've seen some hak paks that cause problems with 'pure' mods like Neversummer4 that don't use any.
