XP loss due to PK

I might be mistaken but I am pretty sure you are not supposed to lose XP to a pk. Well that is exactly what happened. There were lag issues and disconnects and when myself and Tal logged back in we forgot to reparty, he then let loose a wail and killed me along with the 4 efreets. If you look at the picture you will notice that not a single time before Tal killed me did the Efreets even touch me. So I am a little annoyed yes. Is it the end of the world, No. But it really does eat a bag of d!(%s to be so close to leveling after all of the problems that happened and then take that kind of hit.

it happens sometimes. the scripts to clean out in the right order and since you were in combat with the efreets you were more than likely scripted as dying to them. this being the case even though the log says "Tal" killed you, the engine says an efreet killed you. the engine always wins.

If the server is laggy and you're killed by a PC while being attacked by NPC's there's a decent chance you'll get the penalties.
So be careful when you're relic raiding and the server is laggy. I've lost several 1000's of xp this way.
