Avendell and Magic shop

Post by sloth001 »

All of Avendell is hostile towards me for accidentally killing a townsfolk while scribing a spell. Is there a solution and can we keep npc's out of the way in the future?

Easiest way would probably be to remove the townsfolk from the magic shop.

You could also just make those dangerous scrolls/potions in a faction where you are already hostile . . . but that kind of defeats the purpose of being able to go to Avendell.

Why not Mute all spells in the shop? you are not allowed to PK in there anyways... last i herd

Mabe just let the script catch what you where casting and then cancel it on you

The thing is it all started with a simple web spell

Guess what that would do, Terminal? Disable scroll and potion crafting. Which is what they were trying to do in the first place.

no... the script would "catch what you where casting and then cancel it on you"...
Im sure they could find out what spell it is with the script, between the time the caster does the spell and the point the script cancels it

sorta like Counter Spell... the spell is IDed first and then just doesnt go off

Removing NPCs from the surrounding area seems to be the best idea
