Question about Fire Genasi

Greetings,

I created a Fire Genasi sorceror and have been getting the following error every time I transition

* You are not experienced enough to use that item*
Required level: 13
* You are not experienced enough to use that item*
Required level: 13
* You are not experienced enough to use that item*

* You are not experienced enough to use that item*
Required level: 13


I am currently lvl 9 and I can use all of the equipment that I have equiped. I do have some twinks from my other toon, but those are all lvl 16 items.

I am thinking that perhaps there is some Fire Genasi abilty that I am going to pick up at 13th lvl??

i was getting that same message on transition about half the time last night on Reflections, too.

I actually recieved those messages as well upon creating a Half Orc Barbarian named "Barbarian" on Prime. Anytime a transition occured, I recieved the not high enough to use message about 13 times. I'll pm you the specifics if interested.

It started happening to me yesterday on reflections. I have a 6th level Ftr/Rogue that gets these messages on every transition as well.

Yup my shield dwarf wizard Kaelben Candleward gets this as well. Lvl 10 atm.
Every time I transition on prime the msg appears.

Btw. I used an intelligence tome as well (+2) and nothing happened, but the xp and gp loss.

i dont think the build has any relevance...i was logging on and off the guildmules random builds (all lvl 1) and getting this message spammed above my head everytime i logged a new one on.

did u log off and on manually ? i remember i started a whole thread on this in panic because it looked like everything went well, but i neglected the obvious solution of doing it manually....might work, thenagain it might not.

Yup tried it manually, it must have been one of the rare events when the ability raising is buggy. Ah, well...

And it isn't the first time the msgs are appearing. Maybe a similar bug to the char elimination bug?

got the message on every transition. This character has been around for a while and never got the message until two days ago.

aye this happens alot when you die at low levels, no matter what class/race equipment you have on. been happening to me off and on upon respawn since i started playing on NS4 along while ago.

they are talking about walking thru transitions, not dying..this might be something a bit newer.

I've noticed that as well with more than one of my characters.
Even my plain Human cleric is getting it, every transition.

Made a new toon tonight and it started during the first cut scene. I came in through the portal and it appeared like 9 times over my head. Then in the scene for LA, then every transistion after that.

Same here, I started a wild elf druid and with every transition the level restriction messages appear.
