Clarity Bug

Post by P. Fricebottle »

Clarity is listed to be Somatic, thus not needing to be stilled. Considering that, you can't still it anyway if you wanted to. Today in HoD I kept trying to cast it but I failed about 4 times due to Arcane Spell Failure. I think it might be important to note I was trying to Extend it instead, but either way, annoying little bug while fighting in Storm of Vengeance. :S

The components listed are the components required to cast.

So somatic means you DO need to be able to move to cast it, unless stilled, of course.

Yes, Clarity is somatic but not *verbal*. For some reason this also makes it non-stillable, but you can thank Bioware for that.

I wasn't paralyzed at the time, I was making my saves when I was casting it - so I did have the ability to move. Thanks for the clarification Binkyuk.
