Save / Resis listings

Post by Wolfarus »

Right now, you can see what kind of combat resis's you get just by looking at the gear and trying to add it all up mentally, ect.

Would it be possible for the Dev's to write in a script / display that lets a player see what their saving throws are for things like death, curse ect

Also to see what their immunties / Resis's are w/o going thru their gear piece by piece and adding it up.

And finally a cple questions related to this..

1. What is the saving throw type for curse? Ive heard fort. and will.

2. When something says a DOUBLE line of "slashing immunity 10%" does that mean a 20% total? Or just a minor bug that lists one immunity twice?
And does all the dam type resis's and immunities stack from all your gear?

Ty for yer time in answering. :D

the % immunities do stack.. so if you have an armor with 10% slash immunity and a shield with 10% slash immunity..

you will have 20% slashing immunity..

resistances do not stack though.. NWN only takes into consideration the piece of gear with the highest resistance rating..

if you have an armor with 10/- slashing resist..

and a shield with 5/- slashing resist..

NWN will only consider you as having 10/- slashing resist

The multiple line imms are because the toolset has 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90%, and 100% imms. to get anything between (15%, 20%), you have to layer them up.
