Githzerais are messed up(?)

Post by Yona »

Their favoured class is monk, anyhow they get penalty to wisdom AND strenght, which are both very important for monks.

While checking Monsters Manual, I noticed that they get bonuses to dex and wisdom, penalty to intelligence. That fits more to their favoured class. And they are ECL 3 here, if you compare it to, f. ex. drows, they get all important stat bonuses and not much losses.

Is there a reason behind this or something... *cries*

Post by kagato3 »

Are you trying to make a non-neutral Githzerai? You must be nuetrally aligned to be one.

Did you try doing it by typing in the subrace at character creation, or by using the in-game menu that comes up right after character creation?

The in-game menu is the more reliable of the two methods. Damned if i can generally remember how to spell "svirfneblin" to save my life...

Are you trying to use the same name as a character already in your account? If you do, It erases the original character ,and replaces it with the one you just created. but you can't choose a sub-race if youi do that.

I don't think it erases the old character, because I did this one time and a DM just changed the name of one of them and they were both still there.

If you do... it just gets ugly. Don't do it.
