I've spent the last 8 hours playing as a shadow legion lowbie...and have become incredibly frustrated/bored. I can safely say that 80% of my time has been spent looking for things to kill...unsuccesfully. The respawn times are too slow...some hi lvl character has passed thru the screen on their way somewhere leaving nothing for the lowbies or another party of lowbies has cleared the area out...so off we plod somewhere else...and lo and behold its empty. There's some nice big areas...but they have very few spawns...so you spend 5 minutes getting there and 2 minutes clearing the screen...then it's like "where to now"...another 5 minutes travelling and "damn...empty". The areas need to be bustling with monsters...at the moment it just seems very sparsely populated.

Sorry if this seems like a rant but I do really like the mod...it has great potential...maybe I've been unlucky and keep going places just after someone else...seems I end up desperately looking for something to kill and straying into areas above my station...resulting in a bloody death. After all that time looking for a fight..I'm not about to run away...coz then it'll be back to trawling thru areas hoping to stumble across a monster or two.

Eventually the party became bored/disgruntled and we all logged off...after all it is an action server and people want to fight monsters not wander around hoping to find something...there should be an encounter waiting round every corner in my opinion. I can see how some people will turn to PKing just to satisfy their thirst for a bit of action...personally, I'm not a big fan of slaying other players without a good reason but the temptation was there after many hours searching for monsters with little joy.

Anyway, I'm truly grateful for all the time and effort that has obviously gone into the development of Neversummer...you guys are doing an awesome job...I just want a bit more action.

stuff will not respawn in an area if you do not leave the it...
Type post, tab tab enter, wait 4page 2 load, shift+tab tab enter, REPEAT!!!

Yup...I realise that....we were travelling to different screens looking for monsters...not just hanging around in an area hoping to find a fight...which is the main reason it was frustrating....coz we spent far more time looking for mobs than actually fighting them.

Sometimes the respawn script in an area can get broken so nothin respawns. Not sure how or why this happens but it is an inconvenience...
I sense a soul in search of answers...

there is a way to fix this and i think its pretty easy

i believe when u create an area u can set the # of respawns in it per reset. i know in aventia the minimum is 2000 respawns, and stuff just about always respawns there. maybe if this was increased a bit we could see spawns a lot more/faster

What about having a clear spot to rest? Add more camps and inns?
