Hired help in Frost Dale
Hired help in Frost Dale
Business seems to always be booming for the Frost Dale Supplier, so much so that the guy quite often has several people surrounding him all talking at once trying to get his attention.
Perhaps he's making enough now to hire a helper or two? It sure would make shopping with him more of a pleasure.

Sounds like hes making bank, why share his profits when everyone is more than willing to wait their turn for his amazing services.

Quality keeps customers, and increased quality has them telling their friends to come.Korr wrote:Sounds like hes making bank, why share his profits when everyone is more than willing to wait their turn for his amazing services.

Re: Hired help in Frost Dale
That sounds like a competitive market. Mr Frost Dale supplier pretty well runs a monopoly of items from level 20-25(or is it 30? dont remember).

It caps at 25.
I put the IO in socIOpath!

Anyway... I think it would be nice if there were a 2nd
npc in FD because there's often a crowd around him, and it just lags him out even more.

He's a greedy son-of-a... We have tried to talk him into hiring a helper to handle extra customers and he just keeps telling us where to get off.
It's his shop. We have to obied by his rules.

Re: Hired help in Frost Dale
A few years back a competitor came to town and wanted to prove a point about fair competition. Well our good buddy "Frost Shop Keeper" pk'd the poor sap so many times... breaking all the MvM rules. This frustrated the new guy so much that the guy unexpectedly shouted offensive nasty profanity stuff. This unfortunately got the competitor banned and left Frostdale Keeper all alone to give his poor service and charge his high prices for identifying.
Of course, the shop keeper smiled gleefully at the results of his efforts.

PS this isn't always a problem in frost. Over the last few weeks its just been one of the busiest places on the server.

Re: Hired help in Frost Dale
Maybe they could make the Frostdale shop a PvP area and if there's too many people waiting to talk to the shopkeeper you can just pk them.

Re: Hired help in Frost Dale
pk with auto raise(not force spawn) after 1 minute. that way they don't lose thier items that are in the shops chest if they were to respawn.

Move the FD shop to the Thunderdome - that'll keep people out.
