Subrace Lizard Folk
Subrace Lizard Folk
Lizard Folk
Sub-Race of Human
Alignment- Any
Ability Changes- Intelligence -2 Charisma -2 Strength +2 Wisdom +2
Ecl 1
Natural Armor Bonus +4
Favored Class- Fighter or Cleric if taken at 1st level
Bonuses- Weapon Focus Spear, Toughness, Dark Vision, Can breathe under water
Lizard men are humanoid reptiles. They stand around 7 feet tall and have saurian heads on human-like torsos covered in fine scales. Their legs are slightly bowed compared to a human's, and they have a thick tail which almost reaches the ground. They have no hair. Their skin color can range from green tones through black to browns and russet reds. They have pointed teeth and long, sharp claws.
Although fearsome in appearance, lizard men are not by nature evil. The lizard man race has been around a long time. They appear early in recorded histories, though it is not clear if they existed on Aetheria before the rift. A handful of radical scholars suggest the lizard men, had grand civilizations and fought terrible wars before the appearance of any warm-blooded races, though most believe the lizard man entered this plane shortly after the rift appeared.

Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

Re: Subrace Lizard Folk
I thought most amphibians, lizards included, had gils or something while they areyoung and sort of trade em in for lungs later....

See http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/lizardfolk.htm for ideas. I guess human would work if we yanked quick to master off of them, but we're talking similar stats to earth genasi also.

Re: Subrace Lizard Folk
Personally I think the Genasi, Aasimar and Tiefling should all be Half Elves just to avoid getting the extra free perks of being "human". After all they are half Human and half Outsider already. Regular Half Elves get no love in this world so at least with some races using the base Half Elf race then they would get at least some play. Other "non-human" humanoids could use Half Elf as well if you wanted a good base for them.

Re: Subrace Lizard Folk
