Yah, the land of apostrophes and unfair insta-death needs some indoor areas, and I'm a little low on ideas, at least ones that'll meet mining's I can do all the boring dev parts schedule starting sometime next week. Mining's started on the creatures/loot/stuff, so after they're done probably a few weeks til some player testing needed.

Outdoor areas are desert or city exterior with the evil castle buildings (like Ice Giants center map except without the ice or whatever that Duergar City is called). Red fog + mood lighting.

It's high magic + militaristic, practically anything can be used, but probably not forest, tropical or sea cave :) Fort has annoying walkmesh that'd need triple checking, Ithillid and Drow are pretty limited for doing things that would make them not look like something you've seen 100x already. What'd I like from you is interiors already in that you think underused or just like the look of and could stand seeing from corpse cam. Or link some pics. Or make ascii art.

I know we under-use sewers and there's tons to be done with that tileset, maybe I could crowbar something in, but don't think too thematically appropriate. So ideas?

Sounds are independent of area, by the way.

I thought so, I seemed to remember the toolset a little. Flames in the walls and lots of spikes and portcullis doors; I like it.

Um, are you suggesting someone build areas for Mining to populate/script? Cuz if ya are, I can churn out obscure and unique areas like nobody's business, i just can't script for shite.

We're just looking for what people think are neat tilesets for the theme we're after.

Personally I'm a bit sick of dungeon and crypt. I'll have to think about a little more.

How large of an area are you considering? A dungeon with multiple levels, or just an interior of a house or caslte consisting of 1 room? Would help to narrow down the options as to what your thinking.

From the link: Adrift in the Astral Sea, the githyanki had their burning hatred and their arms, but no home and few resources. Few resources would indicate a lack of trees. So the castle interior map that looks like the place was made of wood would be a poor choice. Perhaps Burrow interior?

We have a base layout (There's a castle going up and a dungeon going down and a fort) but other than that, lacking tilesets to use to not make it too samey.

It's also built on the body of a dead god and all, can be anything. Besides millennia of casting major creation gets you a lot of bling :)

I'll make the areas, just want a specific look that I haven't done 20x elsewhere already.
