I've noticed that theres not too much of a point to using the quarter staff, is there anyway to give them additional bonuses such as some type of damage resist or even ac, sorry if this sounds stupid although to me it makes sense but I'm no expert. I just picture people using a staff more defenivly than offensive.

Additional no but keep in mind they are treated as 2 handed weapon so as you get higher they have bludge protections.
I like seeing people getting smacked around with staffs, there are a couple aritfact styles in now and a couple more coming, the day I see a quarterstaff WM will make me so happy
