A new guild (?): The Silver Striders

Post by Zaranthys Rivermoon »

Greetings and well met to all!

I am Zaranthys Rivermoon, a ranger. Based in Melancia, I am seeking like-minded comrades-in-arms to clear the surrounding woodlands of goblins, bugbears and all other types of foul minions of darkness who seek to harm nature and extinguish the light of goodness from the world.

To this effect, I am founding a new guild, The Silver Striders. Rangers, harpers and any goodwilled man and woman will be welcome. Let us not forget that any danger or threat can be overcome by standing together in cooperation, shoulder to shoulder and back to back!

Anyone wishing to form the first party of the Silver Striders need only to meet me at the Nature Inn, in Melancia.

Looking forward to meeting you;

- Zaranthys Rivermoon
- Zaranthys Rivermoon, ranger.

A guild for Harpers?

That means there are only six seals left on the Scroll of God... better get your fun in before the world ends :)

Forgive my ignorance (after all, the Rift snatched me off of my homeworld a little less than two moons ago), but what would be the Scroll of God? And what is the relation to my desire to form a new guild?

(Thank you in adance for your response ...)

The Scroll of God from the Apocalypse of St. John the Divine... that would be the real-life Bible, but equally apt in such a shocking event as a Harper guild :)

Aah ... I see ... :wink:

Well, -and I would not presume to correct a Divine Power, whether good or evil, and yet I find myself obliged to put matters to the truth of things -, but the Silver Striders would not be a Harper guild ... rather, the Silver Striders would be a large band of goodly and/or nature-loving adventurers (rangers, warriors, bards, druids, etc.) with the common goal of safekeeping this new world and protect it from the forces of (ahem) darkness ... 8)

Thats what you see when a moderator (me in this case) goes in and removes the body of a message instead of just flat deleting the message. I find it gets the point across better.
