{CLAD}

Post by ATI »

We now have five members, and so it is important to get our Clan rules down for all to see. Additionally, all members, please put their name after this post that way we can track who is coming and going. Finally, if you wish to join please give me a PM or tell me in game.

Charter:
Mission Statement:
1. Protect Daeron and its inhabitants
2. Up hold the laws of the land
3. Render clerical services to those in need
4. Help new players acclimate to NS4 (especially NC and TC)
5. To protect those that have been PKed.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT:
Our job is to help those who have suffered in this war. And then visit that suffering who are evil. Generally you should not attack first, however should you encounter an evil character or guild member, THE RULES OF ENGAGEMENT shall apply as follows:

1. Recon: Assess the situation thoroughly! How many hostile players are there? What is the class and strength of those hostile players? In what direction are the hostile players heading?

2. Raise Silent Alarm! Notify only {CLAD} and FoN of the inbound hostile players and give all pertinent tactical information from Step 1.

3. IF and ONLY IF you cannot handle the situation by yourself in a diplomatic demeanor call for {CLAD} assistance silently (only {CLAD} members) and ask for suitable reinforcement team that that matches closely the strength of the hostiles.

4. Once battle has begun: be smart, think tactics, don't get too serious, we are out to have fun, but keep with the founding principles of {CLAD}, don't be too afraid to retreat for tactical advantage.

5. AFTER COMBAT Negotiate the raise and release of enemy dead to those present at the death scene only, if they are still combatant and hostile leave them where they lay until they agree to turn and head back to home or allied factions (WE DO NOT UNLEASH OUR ENEMIES UPON OUR ENEMIES [i.e. don't raise SL assassins and let them then take their hostility towards AO or even worse TC... Mel is our ally!])

6. If we got slaughtered fall back to Daeron and keep fighting until Daeron is SAFE for all friendlies. If you are fighting and die a couple of times in a single engagement, learn from it and go level some more then come back and defend Daeron later.

A hostile should not be in Daeron. The Gods condone all actions taken to expel enemy force(s) from home cities, which do not cross the line of the NS Commandments!

Those are the RULES OF ENGAGEMENT and are subject to change... please review them from time to time! Have fun all! (Once again we are not out to make enemies! We just to protect Daeron and render clerical services to our fellow players counterparts! ^_^)

Ground Rules:
1. Unless {CLAD} is being harassed by someone who is blatantly violating the NeverSummer commandments you are not allowed to get a Higher level character out of your vault and beat the snot out of the Hostile party.

2. Do not, under any circumstances, attack Daeron with your other chars! We will then be fighting our own friends! Even though this guild strongly pushes very light RP, fighting against other clan members does not promote good feelings among us!

3. Do not the only reply to slander or attacks on {CLAD} in the shout channel with anything inflammatory or unsightly. Keep any and all shouts polite and diplomatic. We should act like the holy warriors we are and keep our dignity at all times (i.e. turn the other cheek).

4. Whenever someone in {CLAD} Pks another char it is considered a CLAD kill. The only characters that any one in {CLAD} may kill on sight are those that have been designated KOS by the GMs

5. 3 Strikes your out! First major offense: All gold and the piece of armor the you are wearing at that moment. Second major offense: All your equipped accessories will be taken and the first strike penalty will be applied again. Third major offense everything you are wearing will be taken away and the first and second strike penalties will be applied again. Failure to comply will result in banishment from {CLAD}. After this any offense to the rules will result in your removal from {CLAD}.

6. Follow all the rules of NS4 and the NS Commandments.

7. Anything that might be dishonorable is dishonorable. i.e. Stealing, swearing in chat, disobeying orders, attacking allies, waging war without GM permission.

Kill on Sight List:

As there are members in NS that attack Daeron there shall be names added to this list.

Command Structure:

Leader:
{CLAD} ATI Jounin - Runner
Makes all tactical decisions
Responsible for the upbringing of new CLAD members
Decides when and if war shall be declared on other factions and guilds
Expected to make self sacrifices to help the rest of CLAD

Jounin:
These members are the immediate leadership absent the leader.
Jounin have the ability to go on high level missions and request support from other Jounin and Chuunin.
Jounin level characters can also recommend new members into CLAD upon the leaders approval.
Entrance into Jounin level requires acceptance of the leader and all other Jounin
Jounin are expected to defend Daeron if it ever comes under attack, no matter the distance, unless told otherwise by the leader.

Chuunin:
They are responsible for helping new members in CLAD figure out builds that are best suited for a characters style of play.
Chuunin are also responsible for maintaining friendly relationships with other guilds.
For high level missions, such as raids, relics, high danger excursions, Chuunin will be called upon as well as Jounin.
Chuunin are expected to help out the Genin with arms and money so that they may train to advance in level.
All Chuunin are selected by the Leader

Genin:
Low level characters in CLAD.
Most of CLAD's membership is in this phase currently.
A Genin's responsibility is to understand what CLAD stands for and to train to become a higher level character.

Positions requiring fulfillment:

Trainer:
Someone who will help train new members of CLAD in our doctrines

Scroll Maker:
Our chief responsiblity is to help those in need, therefore we need Raise Dead scrolls to be easily on hand by our clerics

Runners:
Characters that can quickly access an area to help achieve CLAD's goals, such as raiding a relic, forward recon, and rushing a Raise Dead.

May we bring the fight to evil, for the blood of the innocent ceases to flow, tonight.
I've tried fire, i've tried faith, and i've tried force, all I have left is hope.
