well gee, these might be ideal, but it seems that brother and sister were termed too generic....looks like netrom will have to let us know

Well, it's still being discussed among my guild, and I did send send some pms to the DMs for some clarifications, but with the wipe we're going to have to make a decision quickly. I for one do not want to start my characters a week later than everyone else because of tags.

I'm assuming from Netrom's post above that Bro†her/Sis†er or any variation of the words which are marked as to indicate a tag won't be allowed as variant tags. As such, then if allowed we will go with Bre†hren as our main tag (if needed to be set off as a tag then we will use =Bre†hren=). Presumably, the second variant tag will be "of the Brethren", as I said above, "of the Legendary Brethren" is probably far too long to use unless the toons have names with a single syllable.

As for the use of tLB: I do not like tLB as a tag and as long as I have a say in the matter, I will not be suggesting it. Yes, this may seem picky and irrelevant, but that really should be a matter between me and the head DMs. The other regular players around here do not have a say in my guild matters.

Well, as the greatest guild here, we of course should stand out from the crowd.

Some of us have been discussing it a bit more, and if Bre†hren alone isn't good enough, then we will use [Bre†hren].

Maybe all this haggling over a tag on our part may seem silly to some people, but it's better for us to make a solid decision we will stick with before hand rather than play for a month or so and then irritate the devs by deciding we want a different tag.

Well, it seems Bre†hren won't work because the scripts won't recognize unusual characters.

We can't wait any longer on this issue, we all have characters we want to get started and leveled. We are going with [Brethren] for our tag then, this should not be too generic or too strange or too objectionable. Right now the guild members who are on should be setting up the characters with the tag.

For new members who do not have the tag, can those characters be given a key? I saw some discussion about it, but it was pre-wipe, so not sure what the answer is now.

the keygenerators are set to recognize the guild tag.... if there isn't a tag in the name, it wont key it...

and i think the DM's wanted the guilds to have a official uniform look.
