actually al, i am terribly disappointed.
on reflections, as the head of DCN, you were someone i was glad and proud to call my friend, and u acted as a gangster, but not a punk.
now that u have. . >< ....joined those puppykicking, old lady robbing, wife beating DD's, i am unbelievably disappointed....let down...and surprised.
I don't expect better from them; the gods know that may be the best they can do on civilized behavior seeing as how they were raised by coyotes...but you, Al?
I know u know better. . .that is what makes it so sad.
your once and (hopefully) future bud

Re: PvP Etiquette
if you have problems send out a shout for aid. You may get assistance, depending on who is on.
Edit: Especially when it concerns the DD's, they do an excellent job of being villains, and as such, they have a multitude of enemies.

Re: PvP Etiquette
Rainswept, it's beginning to sound like perhaps you picked the wrong team to play for? I understand not wanting to fall in with guild politics, however, factional politics can and do bleed over, and that's more what this sounds like. That's what Aetheria is all about: warring factions. You picked Shadow Legion, which is an inherrantly evil faction. Are you really surprised, angered or disgusted by the acts committed by Kapwn?? That's really standard M.O. for an evil faction.
I don't fault Kapwn at all for this situation; he's playing his character, guild and faction very well. If I were in his shoes, trying to RP an evil character, you probably would have been my first target for associating with the enemy. In any case, he knows the rules and plays by them. A little agression is no reason to get snarky with the man behind the keyboard.
Back in the day, you could have sent a shout that there was a DeathDealer in This and Such Area that needed taking down, and provided we were on, most of the NorthernCoalition would relog their higher level characters and go hunting. These days not many of us have high enough characters to do that.
So I see you having two options here:
Option #1: RP it from the evil side. If you were wronged in a faction where the most vile and underhanded were promoted up the food chain, what would you do if someone in said faction wronged you? Well, easy. You'd construct a plot to infiltrate and oust them from power and do back WORSE to them than they had done to you, right?
Or...
Option #2: Maybe what you're sensing now is a disgust with just how evil the faction you chose really is. Maybe you have a different idea from the Legion of what's right and wrong as far as gameplay goes. Maybe what you need is not so much a DM judgement but more coming to terms that SL is just not for you.
In either case, the solution to your issue lies with how you handle it. Just keep in mind that you can build rangers in the Northern Coalition...and on this server at level 21 they receive Hide in Plain Sight for free, and can take spot as a class skill to help deal with those pesky assassins.

Lies? Rainswept was there, soon as SoV went up, YOU went away. Greased the area to see if you were coming back and you sure didnt . . . untill I rested. So if you need to wait till my crafter rests to kill him on your wanna be shishio toon to feel better about yourself, youre in for a bumpy ride.

Blystos: as in the explanation I gave above, I have no issue with an in character assassination. Go out and kill the guy. There is a difference between killing a character and harassing players. If you're ever wondering which to be, as a general rule it's fine to do anything to players that monsters in game would do. Kill 'em, stand over their bodies so they must respawn, destroy any that come on to your screen, all of that is fine and part of the game.
It's different when the monster can't be attacked, hunts you across multiple screens, and hunts you down on new boards even after you manage kill it.

Nice one today. Dooming the exit to Barracks spawn point . Commandment IV broken. It seems to me you might be a little frustrated using exploit tactics like that.
Your threats and lies are meaningless. Why dont you keep them off the forums so I dont have to embarrass you further....
