Today's Raid and epic spawns

I start this thread to address issues and complaints raised in game, and to clear TC's name regarding epic spawn that occured today.
First background info:
Today, Inara Moon (TSS) and Netya'nis (TSS) were able to bring Melencia's relic back to Melencia. This started around 4:30 MST. After which solo LA raider attempted to steal TC's relic. When raid started there were no epic spawns.
That raider, entered and exited Wolf's den repeatedly to avoid direct melee combat with Netya'nis (a dragon build). The LA raider was a SD build. She enter and left multiple times with me in pursuit. This occured at least 4 times. Speed was on Raiders side and of course a slow dragon could not keep up. After getting tired of chasing and losing sight in Melencia only to find back at den, decided to sit in Wolf's Den where I knew raider would eventually come back. Found epic spawns were there. The Raider's Entering and Leaving Tactic to avoid Player defender caused the spawn.
Upon discovering epic spawn - I stayed in Wolf's den.
Inara proceeded to raid LA and obtained 2 more relics while Netya'nis waited.
3 hours after this all started - Ozone, Jackalope and Lingering Pain raided. (Time between epic spawn and second raid was about 2 hours during which Inara raided LA to obtain other relics.) Raid level LA toons logged in during this time, we expected someone to show but didn't until Ozone, Jackalope and Lingering Pain did.
I realize finding epic defenders and player defenders is not a favorable turn of event for raiders. But this does not mean the defending faction exploited. I can not help that epic spawn caused by chasing a raider. Yes I know a Monk SD is made to avoid direct melee with players, just kill npc defenders, grab relic and run. But the constant in and out chase tactic may cause an epic spawn.
Our expectation was raiders were coming, just matter of time. Yes I sat and waited, what is wrong with that.
I do not appreciate being accused of exploiting when that is not what happened. Had the first raider not attempted to avoid direct melee conflict then the epics would not have spawned, I would not have sat in the Wolf's den waiting for the eventual raid to occur.
I agree defenders entering and leaving cradle area repeatedly to spawn epics WHEN NO RAIDER IS PRESENT is an exploit. But this didn't happen today. Raid was in process, raider fled, entered, fled, entered over and over.
Not a defender exploit if chasing a raider that is entering/leaving/entering/leaving cradle area repeatedly within seconds.
