There was a dm sponsored event here where 4 or 5 of us from SL were charged with taking out some good aligned toons. It was great and a great way to become more familiar with the world of Aetheria. It was also a good way to see how your character stacked up against others and/or how well you could work as a team. Great fun. It also adds to the fun factor if your so bored out of your skull from leveling hard for days on end. Thank you Anubis for the time to create a fun couple of hours.

NC vs SL
Re: NC vs SL
Good call! Yes it was a tough event... fun because of the mystery and rp of the NPCs on shout. I think that the chasing throughout the realm with hints was the best... just when u least expect it, yer face to face with an enemy who is as clueless as you XD I love free roaming events!
My only suggestions for improvement would be to make the clues a bit more understandable for us newbies. If it wasn't for the presence of a couple vets on the SL team, we never would have found our targets. My second suggestion is perhaps a way to even the teams a bit more. I understand that the DM is pretty much stuck with the players that are online at the time and have to deal with it even if it's not their ideal setup... it's hard to manipulate a mob of PCs into doing exactly what u want! But an even-steven final battle would be fun... if it's possible.
Great event! Good fun for all!

Re: NC vs SL
no event will ever be even unless its stated at the beginning the # of players and a specific level needed and even then people have the phone ring or time limits online ect you just got to deal with what you can get as best you can. co ordinate attacks and use gorilla tatics if your outnumbered.

Re: NC vs SL
aye, good fun - was the intro for the new NC holy water, as well, I think. Nice way to do that!
I'm not sure if there's been a new faction item for SL yet, but FoN and CLAD (if I may speak for our brothers in the light) would welcome the chance to prevent it being added.
I thought the teams were pretty even, there were 4 NC/TC to start (2 joined once everyone returned to Daeron). I thought there were an equal number of SL as well - maybe there were only 3 DD, seemed pretty close anyway, maybe you guys are just that good
A group of LA players tried to join in as well, I THINK to aid in the defense of Daeron - I know the NC guys killed at least a couple. Hehe - we were kind of in a red-dead state-of-mind, and anybody who wasnt a declared friend was an enemy. No hard feelings, feel free to return the favor, see you in NS City, where my toons generally die plenty

Re: NC vs SL
Agreed, the forest battle was epic, good matchups there i think. Lots of thought and mind games and less raw-toon power.
The battle at the end, was utter chaos in my opinion. Since everyone was red and everyone loves to target me (when they can!) it seemed like our band of 4 or 5 had run into a zone full of 10 PC toons and 20 NPCs all waitin to kill us. So we weren't too upset when it happened. Although I was in a corner fighting one of the moons and hadn't died yet when the event was called to a close, but it woulda taken me hours to kill ya all solo
