I did manage to wander to HoD and was able to take out one npc with lots o heal pots (lvl 26) so with a decent based group we might be ok for mobs.... not sure on boss yet.
lets set something up for tomorrow night?
hod run? min lvl 25 hopefully we get a solid group going.

Well we took a party of 6 (mostly level 40's) to the positive plane on prime and it was not fun (ie:ultra-anti-caster cheese), except for the whacky drops and amazing effects (love the grass being blown by the one mob spell). My BG got smacked once or twice by some heavy smites -- so if the other new planes are that tough, I don't think i'll be going until at least lvl35 on reflections...MasterYoda wrote:back on topic....

As for the HoD boss.... we've fought it in ns4 many times i believe ;] Mr.Mortis himself...

Ok, now that i've been to all the planes I'd have to say that negative is STILL about 10 times harder than any other plane... you can't cast neg protection to lessen the pain, and there are counterparts to the pos plane mobs, only they are all a LOT harder.Amoenotep wrote:negative energy plane has been reworked so that its not un killable anymore. now you can actually go there and live for a few mins...before your pounded into mush.
Plus just portalling in and standing still for a minute seems to result in the entire map full of creatures discovering you. That and if you actually make it in, you have to deal with being kd'd by hellballs, dispelled 100%, heavy amounts of both piercing and bludgeoning damage with death or sneak attack damage on top.
Definately a plane for the crit immune and undead... the loot is amazing so it's worth the pain, but just when you think it can't get any harder, the BOSS is way over-the-top (unflankable 82 AC and TONS of regen).
