an xM update

hey everyone. just popping in to give you an update.

i just got my first real job (i've always been an ENG prof or a freelancer, so i've never had a real schedule or anything). and it's kinda my dream job. i'll be writing quirky content (content, not code) for a tech company with a bunch of young, weird people. i have to relocate to virginia, which is sort of scary after being in chicago for 7 years. so anyway--i'm busy but happy.

one of these days i'm going to reinstall nwn. but every time i sit down to work on it, i get stuck on deciding what to delete to make room for it (my HD's full).

oh, and i turn 30 today. so i'm all old and stuff. someone pass the geritol.

i still chat with DM Torrent at least weekly. he's still the same: smart & snarky. I've seen DM Rokk a few times too. He wound up going to Swathmore, so that's super.

I think it says a lot that after all these years, my best net friend is still one of my fellow DMs from NS.

anyhow. i miss you guys. once i get an external HD, new machine, or the motivation to delete 9 gigs, i'll come say hi ingame.
