The Ultimate Tournament of Aetheria

Hear ye, Hear ye! The gods demand payment in blood. Long have the mortals of Aetheria wandered about the land claiming they were all but godly. Now, the true gods, demand a payment of lives from your midst to prove who is most worthy of this land.

This tournament will be held....in the THUNDERDOME!!!!!!

You will fight to the death, there is no second place.
You will face any and all comers no matter what.


This is no tournament for the feint of heart. Be aware, when you die in TD your char is deleted forever.


1. NO Hips....known issues make people random crash causing death in TD....you won't get easy exploit wins.

2. Summons are allowed, if it;s part of your build, bring it.

3. All contestants will randomly roll for position in the fight to make things as fair as possible.

4. Remember, it's a fight to the death...the loser gets deleted. NO WHINING

5. No pot chugging. If you're bringing a cleric we'll limit you to 3 heal spell and that's it...i don't want these things taking hours because you're just chugging away. Each player without the ability to heal itself is limited to 3 alternative heals ie. Kits, pots, scrolls.

ideally just one, but remember, there will be only 1 winner of this tournament. so if you feel like risking every char you have above lvl 20 then.....lol, its your fault they got deleted.


there will be no refunds of lost chars/items in this event...its an enter at your own risk.

Sooo...when you say players will be selected at random to fight, does this mean the winner stays until defeated?
Or will the winners of the first round of pair-ups be again randomly selected for the second round and so on and so forth until the final 2 are left?
Or, will you have a ladder style tournament like the final four type college tournament?

1) Am I to assume no restrictions on any other consumables? Mantle pots/scrolls pretty much prohibit casters from having a chance.

2) If you drop out of combat from running circles are you allowed to restealth? What if the character has HiPS?

3) Regen spells and vampiric regen stuff ok?

4) Any restrictions on the number of heals you can toss on pets?

no hips...if you have hips and you plan on using it..plan on me killing your char then and there.

you can heal your pet as much as you want.

run as much as you want to...but when i get bored i'll force you to fight or die, its a tourney after all...not a race.

other consumables besides heals are use as you want, i just don't want to watch a few ppl healing for hours on end.



random fight picks will go like this

random a d100>highest 2 will fight so on and so forth

the winner of the first rounds will stand to the side until the first rounders are done then rinse and repeat the d100 rolls until there is but 1 left.

*note* in order to make this a more blanketed fight we will hold the fights on 2 different days so that everyone has a chance to plan on making it. the winner of the 2 seperate days will face off on a day of their own to reap the rewards of the gods....

and let me tell you, i wish i could have some of the stuff we are giving out
