Bounty system, in conjunction with above:

Whenever a pure level 40 rogue is logged on, their name appears on a bounty list at the Avendel Magistrate's office. Other players may speak to magistrate to obtain authorization to hunt a rogue on the list. That player is deputized as a bounty hunter, given a warrant for the rogue's PK. If the player bounty hunter PK's their rogue target, then the rogue is transported to the Avendel Stocks and the above arraingment and trials initiates. If and when the bounty hunter pk's the rogue the bounty hunter is awarded 1,000 xp, 100,000 gp, and ported to the DM prize room for their service to the realm.

Bah, alignments are a joke anyways. Nobody is only lawful good or chaotic evil.

It would certanly add new forms of entertainment and action to the server. If can be convereted from an easy to use PnP measure to the NWN system.

Im assuming this is in addition to some kind of actual bonuses for a pure rogue.

What happens if there is more then one pure rogues in party and 2 marshals spawn. Do marshals then fight each other over who claims the bounty?

Dress zerg up in drag and have him distract the guards while another picks the lock to the thiefs cell.


Can we add a tomato vender in ave so that passer bys can pelt whomever is in the stocks? Cherry tomatos even and use a sling.

Well seeing the a rogue by design in DnD is a master of the shadows and things hidden. Would it not fit well into this server for them to get bonuses to spot and listen that no other class can come close to ?

Shadow dancers use the shadows and darkness to go about there business.
Assasins use there abilities of diguise and stealth to get the job done at any cost.

A rogue on the other hand must use his wits and a very sharp eye to do his job so know one else sees him do it.

And i think the server really needs another class that most factions can use to get a good spotter.

why? rogues get alot allready, you are a dexer, and you, well can build, erm sort of, and you, well, are whining, to forums, gee Wally, my rogue isn't up to snuff, Do you think NS4 will hear my whining?
