Crafting level up script no longer works
I know this shhould be in bugs, but for some reason i can't log in, eitherway thelevel up script when crafting is broken, I was just about to hit artisan, and I have 8042xp in master artisan, lvl10monk 9rogue I should stil be able to level up, but I can't it just does'nt do anythin, someone else also tried and they couldn't level up eitehr, this bug is very annoying and I was wondering if anyone else had noticed.....
Don't whine if you get pked, make sure they're gone, level like crazy, then go kick their butt.
*ahem* In other words, not my fault you're not level 23...
(i'm just asking for it aren't I?) Ah well....

I think monk is supposed to be listed there as well. Perhaps this helps.Ifyou have levels in Assassin, Blackguard, Cleric, Divine Champion, Dwarven Defender, Dragon Disciple, Paladin, Palemaster, or Shadowdancer, the maximum craft level you can attain is Craftsman (Level 3) in any Tradeskill (these classes have significant other duties to perform or skills to practice)

This thread is a pretty good one on crafting and should explain why you're having those problems. It seems that if you multiclass to something that can't craft as well, even if it's only 1 lvl, that you can't continue past the lowest common lvl.

Hmmm, iI was going to post an irritated reply about my being master craftman already, so i wasn't limited to craftsman, then I realized that heh, this falls under the other category of limitations thank's to Carr's post, I knew you couldn't make it past craftsman with a prestige class, but apparently if you multiiclass say a rogue that can hit master artisan, with say a monk who is't mentioned as being able to, you cannot proceed past master craftsman. I will admit I am quite annoyed at this given how I just pumped a load of xp into it hehe, ah well, something to know for when NS goes Gold. I would however like to request a change to the script, that if you were to multiclass with a class that can hit master artisan then you could still, while retaining that if you had a prestige class you couldn't. But hey, this is just me, and I suppose it is some more incentive to build "pure" chars. In this case I would also suggest that the items attainable at artisan and above have a significant jump in quality, such as artisan being on par with some of the best level 16 stuff, and master artisan being even higher, so that there would really be a reason to become a master artisan, but hey just some thoughts, and I now realize that this post is in the completely wrong forum and should be under suggestions, oh well, I'm too lazy to change, and the thread was started here, so here it shall remain! lol
Oh, by the way, yes I know that the above was an obscenely long sentence and any english teacher would kill me, but hey who really cares? (if anyone does care, welll... tough I guess heh)

I think it may be changed, just becaues it makes little sense, and hurts crafters needlessly. So if anyone has good suggestions on fixing it, a thread could be started. I'm still trying to think of a compromise between taking 1 lvl of an off class and being restricted, to taking one class of an on class and getting everything.
