Subrace Stats and LA Messenger Bonuses are Gone
Subrace Stats and LA Messenger Bonuses are Gone
Tonight the subrace stat bonuses to abilities were not present. Also, the +1 DEX and +1 CHA from completing the LA Messenger quests was absent too.
Does this mean new jobs are on the way and subrace stats will be fixed to apply as they should (not counting towards the +12 max in an ability)?

thx for posting Holghask.
I brought it to DM Shadey's attention and he tried a server reboot but it didn't work. Just by way of more information on the problem it's @ 3 days now it's been like this and someone that had just completed the messenger quest got their bonus to dex and cha while mine (and both our sub-race stats) were still absent. Then when the server reset that person lost the messenger bonus as well.

Thanks for the additional info - that's helpful.
We're trying to sort out a source control problem first (trying to enable permissions for multiple people to be working on files at once) first and then we can do a recompile of the mod. I'm hoping that'll solve the problem...

Any stat modification, no matter if it be from ability adjustments to SR, are capped unless they are hard-programmed into the engine under a class, race, or spell; with this oh-so-lovely reminder of Bioware's idiocy over our heads at all times, Drow SR would cap-out long before 40th level no matter how we decided to impliment it for NS. The way it is now, Drow SR is made to benefit lower levels on purpose, since most classes will give some manner of protection from magic at higher levels anyways and this cuts down on the coding the devs need to do.
I suppose fully scaling SR might be good for a fighter, but I wouldn't want to play a pure fighter Drow no matter what the bonuses were!
