guys...some of you are getting way out of hand holding DM's personally responsible for anything that doesn't go your way. shouting berrations at them for server lag, for you not being able to find your way somewhere, for you not having the right stats or build to beat a creature they spawn to test you. its horrible to see a cart load of people yelling at one person because your day isn't going the way you want.

its time to stop acting like babies in a fit. someday these DM's or Dev's might not feel like making a new area or item. putting in helpful scripts or quests. it would all be because you feel they need to work for you. maybe they will pack up and leave like so many other good players lost along the way. it would still be because of your treatment.

they can't post on the forums and tell you guys to "STFU" because they are DM's and are held more responsible to you, but i can. i'm not a DM nor do i think i ever will be around here so i can tell you guys your being really big A-holes somedays. be nicer to your support team. be helpful instead of yelling at them. try to show them atleast a little respect and it migh benefit you more times than not.

I have an alternate suggestion: Just show EVERYONE a little respect, and perhaps even a bit more respect to the people who aren't here just to play a game. It will make a better game for all.

Yeah, DMs deserve a lot of respect. I tried screwing around with that Toolset thing and its freakin' annoying.

Bioware has a Module Construction Tutorial that provides step by step instructions to create a module. Give a try and see how long it takes you. It's only two areas (three if you do extra credit). Maybe this will help you appreciate the work that Devs and DMs put into a mod for us to enjoy.

I agree whole heatedly. So often teams like this only hear the complaints and rarely praise. I would also like to express my appreciation for the grudge work put in on this world so that people like me may have hours (days, weeks, etc.) of ever changing, extremely enjoyable fun.

sadly, the people who need the kick in the [censored] are generally the people who arent on the forums yet.

we all know and love (or love to hate, love-hate relationships.. blah blah, ingame its all the same)... Realize the dms will always get the better of you (in the end, they have the ban rod) as they can see your characters weekness's... Its not fun if the game is too easy anyhow.

You'll never have the right to complain, and dms will never be obliged to have to listen... but being the great ppl they are they are usually open minded.

I never payed attention, but I got a handling on stuff and scripting (can only script the MOST basic lol).

lol, yeah. But we all love Chase anyway, despite his evil intentions sometimes. He runs a few interesting quests every now and then as well...

there is really no need to argue with DM's especially over the shout channel.... i caught part of this incident the other day and it was rather dissapointing... and seeming that i dont remember what was being argued it must have been that stupid in the first place --- I do agree the DM's do alot and i have never had a reason to be annoyed with one - they always are helpful. and YES they do have different personalites -- which dont hinder but enhance gameplay especially when they hold events:)

although it is possible that some people have personal opinions about them it doesnt mean the entire server needs to hear about it, and maybe you should re-consider insulting them just because your upset : their job doesn't entail putting up with stupid crap ! If it makes you feel better, then gossip on a private channel with someone you know -- rant and complain to them to your hearts content, then just simply move on.

Oh --- and i almost forgot --- reality check -- it's a game !
