Not true. Our Dev team made this true at first, but a patch by bioware ruined their hard work about 6 months back.Throst54 wrote:sorry to break it to you... but there are no multiclass xp penalties on NS4Core wrote:Actually half elf and humans are 90% of all my NwN characters. I hate Multiclass exp penaltys, even more I hate ECL's I rarly make an ECL character on NS4. Too much of a hassle and the pluses don't outweight the negatives. Especially drow.. ew
the only thing that favored class counts twoard is seeing if you get 10% of xp towards your next lvl after lvl up

Why would anyone be a half elf instead of just a human or an elf? I think the only place I've really seen them regularly was on role playing servers... and people who don't know much about building toons seem to use them sometimes.
Ranger Bane of Enemies is a good feat but the opportunity costs are just too big. You can just be a cleric and have more spells, better ab, and basically just as good dmg to everything (not just selected monsters) Be nice to see what the devs do for pure class rangers.

Immune to sleep, and +2 vs mind effecting spells are 2 good reasons.
If you want a decent Archane archer with no MC penalty, high AB.
Lowlight vision I don't understand though, either do I fully grasp dark vision. I mean you need the spell Ultra vision to pierce the spell darkness. Even if you have low light and dark vision naturally.. you still get effected by the spell darkness. Does anyone know what low light and dark vision really do in NWN?

50% elf and 50% gnome could work. They are the Forest Gnomes, shortest of their kin with an average life expectancy of 500 years. One of their three foremost languages is Elven, they also can roughly speak with animals as well. They hide well like their elven bretheren with a +4 bonus to hide (+8 in wooded areas) and have Pass Without a Trace, but that wasn't implented by Bioware. Perhaps a small bonus to Move Silently or a little Blurr token.
