Your RDD and max STR

Plus the feats for the class bonus feats...fighters and CoTs get bonus feats every 2 levels, if I remember, which means it is possible to get the full +10 strength.

Ah, but Great Strength isn't one of the choices for the epic fighter bonus feats...

Then why do they say "multiple times, up to a maximum of +10" if its impossible?

I know some classes get great wisdom (cleric or cot for example) and they could get the +10 through normal feats and epic bonus feats, so they could get +10 wis, but what's the point of saying that for strength if no class combo can reach it? For the sake of all the skills looking identical? Pish posh.

Or even barb at that level, considering barb is less about actual combat skills and more about pure brute force.

The only physical combat classes that can take a Great "Physical(Dex/Str/Con)" feat as a class bonus feat are: Bard (Dex), Assassin (Dex), Arcane Archer (Dex).

As for why would the feat say you can take a max of +10 to a stat when it is physically impossible to do so, Bioware is lazy. They directly copied their feat descriptions from the PnP epic ruleset. In PnP, while epic levels past 40 essentially fall apart very fast, there is no actual level cap for epic play in PnP, so a class could theoretically take +10 STR/CON/DEX ect...
All that said however, since PnP has a more robust selection of Epic feats, the + stats feats are, in my opinion, not as desirable as some of the other feat options.

Actually blame WotC. They're the ones that didn't give the epic fighter those feats in the first place:
