Server access problem

Would like to confirm whether the server is down at the moment. Have tried all manner of things.

Disabled firewall(s), restarted router, changed shortcuts to various incarnations.

tracert works, pinging ns4.servegame.com works. Have the port numbers changed from 5121?

70.191.163.120:60001

No luck there faith. I haven't changed any settings and was playing last night so not sure what has happened.

EDIT: Sorted!

I have added port 60001 to my firewall settings. Weird because yesterday it worked fine with the 5121 so it looks like 5121 has been replaced.

Caught me by surprise it did lol

Mods please scrub unless you want to keep for some reference for others.

5121 doesn't work for me either. I had to use 60001.

I couldn't connect to NS4 from Gamespy. When I typed in a "Direct Connect" to 70.191.163.120:60001 it worked. Then, when I logged off and went back in, the gamespy connection worked fine.

it was down awhile and now the ip has changed again.

yes the ip changed back to an older one

For my direct connect shortcut i use the following target line :

F:\NeverwinterNights\NWN\nwmain.exe +connect ns4beta1.servegame.com:5121
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

obviously you may have to change the folders/drave depending on your individual setup

Previous to this my traget line was just as above but instead it was 60001 , it seems to have went back to the way it was before the last ip change....

The ip didnt change. Maybe gamespy finally updated and let us have our 5121 back?

server has been down since 9:30 or so eastern time...... i assume that DDog will have to reset it manually, i am pretty sure we will all be updated once it is restored
