Looking to increase the number of battle axes at middle levels 13-19.

Here are two suggestions:

Golden Crane

Description: This strange-looking axe has a mirror finish. Engraved in gold on its surface a recurring motif of its namesake. The sound when it hits metal is not dissimilar to a deafening clang.

Required Level: 16
Base Damage: 1d8
Base Critical Threat: 20*3
Base Damage Type: Slashing
Weapon Size: Medium
Feats Required: Weapon Proficiency (Martial)

was thinking of the barbarian terrifying rage thread and came up with some ideas

Gauntlets of the Cave Bear
lvl 25
+6 def AC ( can be used to deflect some blows with their thick hide)
+6 Str ( greater rage = 6 + 6gloves = 12 max no buff needed)
-2 Int (overdependance on might makes right)
+6 Intimidate (spirit of the bear rages within theses gloves)

Bracers of Ragnarok
lvl 35

+10 Def AC (a rare form of blended adamantium and mythril was used in their making)
+4 Str ( mighty rage = 8 + 4 bracers = 12 max no buffing neede)
-2 Int (overdependance on might makes right)
-2 Ref save ( their heavy nature slows down the wearer)
+10 Intimdate ( rumor has it these were once the bracers of a god long since dead )
+3 Regen ( over the eons the will of all the owners has added special energys to these bracers helping the wearer stay in the fray )

Noticed there are no +5/+6 named katanas (in the wiki at least) other than generic Golden Mithril and Imbued Adamantine so I made the following. I thought keeping with the exotic nature and need for an extra feat to be taken it should be a nifty piece of equipment. :)

Rainbow

The blade when cut through the air leaves a trail not unlike a rainbow and strikes with a thunderous clap. The weapon tingles in the wielder's grasp leaving him or her listless, weak and slow.

Fear DC30? Is that even possible? The highest I do get is a lvl 5 fear once a day. But maybe with Leto...

Pendulum of Balance

Eons ago, the Gods clashed in a great battle that symbolized the eternal struggle between Good and Evil. Balance was finally restored when an unknown diety gathered the conflicting energies and bound them within a morningstar. When held upright, the ball of the morningstar sways from side to side, signifying the constant struggle for balance between Good and Evil.

A holy weapon once worn by Tyr Himself, the Mace of Disruption was lost during an epic battle between the Gods many eons ago. An absolute bane of Evil, especially the undead, the mace can only be worn by the most devout and pure of heart.

Sting

Severed from an ancient insect and formed into a dagger, this weapon poisons and slowly kills its victims with strong toxins. Victims feel intensely hot when pierced by the blade. Unfortunately for the wielder, the sting gives off a pungent odor of decay that repulses any who come near.

Removed from the carcass of a fierce beast, this ivory horn was fashioned into a small crude dagger. Retaining some of the magical properties of the slain beast, the horn's cut forms a rather nasty wound that is difficult to heal.
