If your item has somehow been beneficially altered by a crash I can quite safely say that using that benefit (such as by giving a destricted item to a level 1) is bug abuse.

If you put it on the Anvil you should get a new one back with stock properties again (but don't do it with crafted items).

Can a Dev please include a warning in the Anvil conversation that says, "DO NOT PUT CRAFTED ITEMS ON THE ANVIL"? It would be extremely costly if someone did so on accident. Editing the conversation would take less time than to alter the Anvil code to spit your crafted items out unchanged (no QA testing, etc).

Ah, I almost forgot there is the Moleman Shiv. Although it must be a very rare drop. At least it is +5 with some nice sonic damage.

Is there a list somewhere of possible items that the anvil should be oused on?

i have killed my share of molemen ... hundreds ... maybe more than hundreds ... I have NEVER seen a moleman shiv. I have 4 or 5 gobby daggers (also not easy to get) but nix to the Moleman Shiv.

Was nice to see that a uber dagger is being given for an event prize - HURRAY!

Yeah, I'm starting to think that the shiv is only a legend.

I have gathered a few Shiv's in the past. That was before the vault wipe though.

i did find a couple pre-wipe as well, but amazingly, I don't even recall visiting the molemen at all since the wipe... o O ( even after 700 character levels of toons within lvls 30-40 )

hopefully the devs will take a look at this as daggers could be a decent weapon for dual-wielding halflings ;P

[censored] Swords ftw, however I am also a fan of the double weapons and enjoy trying to find builds with them that don't have shoddy AC :p

Also I love using whips with SD halfling that is fun
