Hmmm, sounds like this hammer should require a minimumn strength, say 18, to be able to use it.

id say if your going to make a min str make it on par with it being a lvl 35 item 26 str min perhaps even higher to omit all but the most str devoted builds. although setting the bar so high the bonuses should match the requirements say 1d10 positive instead of the +5 vs chaotic only or +5 posi vs all and 1d10 vs chaotic.

Books written about people, creatures, places and events in Aetheria.
Single use, 1k-3k xp. Once you've read one with a specific title (i.e. "Ogres of Haddon Mirk") you can't gain xp from using a duplicate.

I always thought the books in the NWN campaign should have done this. You read the book, you're bound to gain SOMETHING from it.
